Honestly, though — why are there so few department stores with benches to sit on? Do they not know how uncomfortable a display shelf is to sit on? Dying husband = shorter shopping time for wife, so it’s really in their best interest to offer a modicum of comfort.

The first shopping centre to build a husband playground, with Porsche carousel and Lamborghini swings, would crack the market and reinvent shopping as we know it.
