An Ukrainian Artist Creates Handmade Blown Glass Creatures
Glass in his hands is as plastic as clay; gracefully transparent, and conveys the finest nuances of the structure of all kinds of insects. You can admire the delicate glass creatures.
“My name is Nikita and I am an artist from Ukraine. We’re a family workshop called “Glass Symphony,” which exists for more than twenty years. We deal with art called ‘flameworking’. It is the art of making glass figurines melted in the flame of a gas burner glass. This is the process of creating exclusive glass figurines and compositions. They are exclusive because all the compositions are handmade.” — Nikita Drachuk
